Break down a huge wicked problem within 5 days in a group of 4 students in order to learn design thinking methods.
Question: How Might We design digital platforms or tools that facilitate seamless communication, collaboration, and knowledge sharing among teams in diverse work environments?
Starting with the wicked problem, we broke it down with the help of secondary and primary research (user interviews). In addition, we created a user persona, user journey and used methods such as crazy 8 to generate solution ideas. Concept testing was applied to test out our sketched solution of a digital assistant.
Design Thinking: Navigating through the process and observing its functionality significantly aided us in narrowing down and enjoyably refining potential solutions.
Dot Voting: We found it fun, fast and easy way to narrow down key concepts and findings
Next Steps
Prototypes to test specific features, especially those related to social interactions.
User trials observe real world reactions and gather more in-depth feedback.
And of course: Iterate, iterate, iterate
